Role Purpose

The Project Manager will lead the ERP implementation activities for the merged entities, ensuring smooth alignment with Group standards, timelines, and governance. They will coordinate internal and external teams and stakeholders, manage the implementation partners, and drive all project phases from fit-gap analysis to go-live and stabilization, supported by our group lead ERP Project Manager acting as deputy for this project.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management & Delivery

  • Lead the overall ERP (D365 F&O) implementation for merged company.
  • Define and manage the project plan, timeline, budget, resources, and scope.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of all project milestones
  • Manage dependencies between ERP rollout, data migration, infrastructure, and local business readiness.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively managing deviations from scope or timeline.
  • Oversee quality assurance, testing plans, and acceptance criteria.

Workshop Facilitation & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Skilled in leading requirement-gathering sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate between business language and technical concepts.
  • Strong negotiation and alignment skills to reconcile local needs with group standards.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Act as primary interface between Group IT, local business management, implementation partner(s), and functional leads.
  • Conduct steering committee updates, project reporting, and issue/risk escalations.

Integration & Change Management

  • Ensure proper alignment of the ERP design with the existing Group D365 Blueprint and existing integrations (Finance, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, etc.).
  • Coordinate testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
  • Support change management, end-user readiness, and knowledge transfer.

YOUR PROFILE

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in ERP project management, ideally within large-scale international rollout projects.
  • Proven track record of end-to-end ERP implementations (planning → go-live → stabilization).
  • Solid understanding of business processes across finance, logistics, and supply chain.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (Romanian and English fluent).
  • Ability to coordinate hybrid teams (onsite/offshore/external/internal).

Preferred:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or previous versions (AX 2012).
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket, distribution, or manufacturing industry.
  • PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification is a plus.
