YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced Job Architecture Consultant to support the implementation of a Mercer-based Job Architecture and Benchmarking framework across the Swiss Automotive Group.
The consultant will play a key role in establishing a consistent job architecture, validating job families and career frameworks, aligning positions to Mercer methodologies, and supporting market benchmarking activities. The successful candidate must have proven experience leading or supporting similar Job Architecture implementations in complex, multi-country organizations.
This is a fixed-term project role focused on ensuring the successful deployment, adoption, and governance of the new job architecture framework.
Job Architecture Implementation
- Support the implementation of a Mercer-based job architecture framework.
- Review and validate existing organizational structures, job families, job functions, and career streams.
- Map existing positions to the new job architecture framework.
- Assess and recommend appropriate career levels and job classifications.
- Ensure consistency of job architecture application across countries and business functions
Job Evaluation & Benchmarking
- Support the application of Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology.
- Conduct position matching to relevant market benchmark surveys.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to validate benchmark positions.
- Ensure data quality and consistency for market pricing exercises.
- Provide expert guidance on job architecture design principles and governance.
Documentation & Governance
- Develop implementation documentation, guidelines, and governance processes.
- Establish quality controls and standards for position classification.
- Support the creation of sustainable governance models for ongoing architecture maintenance.
Change Management & Training
- Deliver training sessions to HR teams and managers.
- Create user guides and training materials to ensure long-term adoption.
Project Support
- Contribute to project reporting and executive updates.
YOUR PROFILE
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Advanced HR or Compensation certification is an advantage.
Experience
- Proven experience implementing a Mercer-based Job Architecture framework.
- Demonstrated experience using Mercer IPE methodology.
- Experience with job matching and market benchmarking processes.
- Experience working in multinational and multi-country environments.
